"China and Dutch Economy and Trade Negotiation Conference" Successfully Held in Hague, Dutch 2002/12/5
On December 3 and 4, two-day-long "China and Dutch Economy and Trade Negotiation Conference"
Several days before, the Dutch Chinese Chamber of Commerce held a large-scale "China-Dutch Economy and Trade Cooperation Negotiation Conference" in Hague, Dutch. The Commerce Department of the Chinese Embassy in the Netherlands, the Chinese Council of the Netherlands Council for Trade Promotion, the West Holland Foreign Investment Agency and the Chamber of Commerce of The Hague jointly held the conference.
The Chinese delegations joining the conference on December 3 came from the China Logistics Alliance Network, the enterprises attending the exhibition came from 5 provinces and cities in China, and the products and items attracting merchants involved a lot of vocations such as rag trade, chemical industry, metallurgy and machine.
Counselor Zhang Zhifeng of the commerce department of the Chinese Embassy in the Netherlands gave an ebullient speech in the conference. He said that China and Dutch economy and trade ties were deepening everyday, last year Dutch\'s trade amount with China was the third in all the European Economic Community member countries, and China was Dutch\'s second largest trade partner in the far east. China\'s entering of WTO would further promote the bilateral trade.
The Chinese delegation joining the conference on December 4 came from the Foreign Economy and Trade Cooperation Bureau of Hangzhou.
The Executive Vice Mayor Bas Verkerk of Hague also offered a speech at the conference. He said that the China-Dutch economy and trade ties were deepening from China\'s entering of WTO, and the direct contact of enterprises from both countries was especially important. He also praised the positive effects of the Dutch Chinese Chamber of Commerce in the areas of economy and trade of both countries.
