the Dutch Chinese Chamber of Commerce Held Sucessfully “the Dutch and Chinese Economic and Trade Proseminar” with Venhuizen City 2004/6/10
The Dutch and Chinese economic and trade proseminar was held successfully by Venhuizen government on the night of June 9th 2004. As a cooperative partner, president Hu Zhiguang, secretary-general Yang Hong and office director Xu Gang on behalf of the DCCC attended this proseminar, First Secretary Ma Lianxing, secretary Gu Ruoshi and secretary Rong Zhaoxia from the Economic and Commercial Department of Chinese Embassy in the Netherlands also were invited to join in the meeting.
At the beginning of the proseminar, mayor of Venhuizen, He Tiansong delivered a speech and showed his thankfulness to the guests, and he also thanked the DCCC for supporting this proseminar. After that, president Hu Zhiguang expressed thanks to secretary Ma, Mr. He Tiansong and Mr. Hoekstra. He said that this proseminar would be beneficial to both local enterprises and the DCCC, through the proseminar, the both sides could understand more about each other and strengthen their cooperative relationship. The DCCC would keep a close cooperation with friends from all circles as always, it would like to provide a comprehensive service for Dutch enterprises. He hoped all guests could be a member of the DCCC and improve together the economic and trade development between Netherlands and China.
Then, First Secretary Ma Lianxing introduced commercial information between China and Netherlands. He said that the bilateral turnover in 2003 had reached 15 billion dollars; the Netherlands has been China’s second largest commercial partner in the European Union district, however China is the largest partner of the Netherlands in the Far East. The main trade products include machinery and electronic products, light industry products, clothes, industrial products and so on, the two countries’resource complementariness took a clear advantage and the two countries will enjoy a bright prospect in economic cooperation. Mr. Hoekstra from Dutch Chamber in northwest of Netherlands shared some positive suggestions with the guests and he also showed the willingness to carry on a close cooperation with the DCCC, thus to encourage local enterprises to invest in China. The office director Xu Gang introduced the services provided by the DCCC and played a short about investing in China. At last, a award drawing activity was held.
This is a warm and harmonious proseminar, which creates more chances for further cooperation.
