The Dutch Chinese Chamber of Commerce Purchasing Delegation Went to China for Commercial Investigation 2004/6/13
May 31st 2004, the DCCC purchasing delegation led by vice-president Xu Zhouya and Yang Jinhua arrived at Chinese capital Beijing. On the purposes of prompting commercial interchanges and strengthening business cooperation, the delegation visited Beijing, Tianjin, Qingdao, Ningbo, Taizhou, Linhai, Hangzhou and other areas one by one. The delegation carried out a series of commercial activities which ended satisfactorily.
Members of the delegation: vice-president of the DCCC, chairman of China Im-Export BV, chairman of Hsii AM BV, Mr. Xu Zhuoya, vice-president of the DCCC, chairman of Dutch Lianying Group, chairman of the European Chinese Commodity Allocating Center, Mr. Yang Jinhua, chairman of Huangche Ltd. Corp, Mr. Liao Xiangang, chairman of Tengwangge Group, Mr. Wong Jinhua, chairman of Starchin BV, Mr. G.J Voortmen.
The agenda arranged by the Representative Office in China of the DCCC: On the afternoon of May 31st, some members of the delegation went to Tianjin for negotiations on real estate development, vice mayor of Tianjin, Chen Zhifeng met vice chairman of the DCCC, Xu Zhuoya and other members of the purchasing delegation, all these would provide a basis for Dutch enterprises investing in Tianjin.
On the night of May 31 , according to the Representative Office’s arrangements, the industry administration organizations held talks with the commercial delegation of the DCCC, the office also gave members of the delegation a banquet.
On the morning of June 1, vice chairman Xu Zhuoya called on directors of Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council and applied for help and support on building senior citizen apartments for returned overseas Chinese in some large and medium cities such as Beijing and Wenzhou. From the afternoon of June 1 to June 3, the Representative Office dispatched chief representative, Ms Gao Ying and senior consultant, Mr. Yu Yin to accompany with the commercial purchasing delegation to join the 3rd APEC Medium and Small Enterprises Conference and Fair in Qingdao.
From June 3 to 11, the Dutch commercial purchasing delegation went to Zhejiang province to carry on its commercial investigation.
On the afternoon of June 12, in accordance with the request of the China representative office of the DCCC, the journalists from “International Business Daily” made a special interview to Mr. Xu Zhuoya, vice chairman of the DCCC.
On June 13, after successfully achieved the goals of this tour, the delegation members flew to the Netherlands in succession.
The main purchasing intention of the commercial purchasing delegation:
Food, package, electrical home appliances (plasma color TV, crystal color TV, air conditioner), small size airplane, medium and low-grade vehicles, articles of everyday use and edible marine products (napkin paper, nuts, fish, shrimp and so on).
Items that the two sides had reached initiative cooperation intent on include:
The delegation held talks with Qindao Haier Group on color TV manufacturing project and reached a cooperative intention;
The delegation held talks with Zhejiang Jili Holding Group on acting as Jili’agent to broaden overseas marker and reached an initiative cooperative intention;
The DCCC signed a friendly agreement with the Chamber of Linhai, whose mayor attended the signing ceremony.
